LOCATION: This unique recreational property is situated 80 miles southeast of Great Falls, Montana. Lewistown, Montana is approximately 65 miles to the east. The town of Stanford is approximately 23 miles northeast of the property.

Stanford is the county seat of Judith Basin County and has a population of approximately 500 residents. Stanford boasts a small bank, medical services, grocery stores, schools, restaurants, gas stations and part stores.

Red Oxide is reached via County and Forest Service roads going southwest from Stanford.

ACREAGE: Red Oxide has a total of 20 acres and is surrounded on three sides by Forest Service. Its northern boundary adjoins another patented mining claim. The terrain of this acreage is part of a large level bench that is approximately 3½ miles long and predominately timbered. The elevation varies from 6540 to 6640. There is lots of elk sign along this ridge top and this tract would make and ideal hunting camp.

This property is accessed via a county gravel road going southwest from Stanford for approximately 13 miles. This county road follows Running Wolf Creek most of the distance. Once entering the Forest Service the road number is #264 and follows the North Fork of Running Wolf Creek for approximately 5 miles. The last ½ mile to the property is a very steep overgrown trail. Access across the last ½ mile would be either by hiking or horseback.
