These properties are located in Judith Basin County and twelve miles east of Monarch, Montana. Monarch is an old mining town that sprang up in the 1880’s. There were three adjacent mining claims at the time and were known as the “King,” “Czar” and the “Emperor” and this may account for the name of Monarch. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: This offering of property comprises five Patented Mining Claims. All of these Patented Mining Claims are remote and high elevation recreational property with elevations from 6000 to 6800 feet. Access is via a county road and easements. This county road is not maintained in the winter time and access is via snowmobile during the winter months. All seller owned mineral rights to transfer to purchaser on each of these tracts.
TRACT #1: Vista Lode was obviously named because of the 360 degree breathtaking mountain views this property offers. Situated on the subject property is a saddle between the Otter Creek Drainage to the north and the Dry Fork of Belt Creek Drainage to the south. Access is via a rough county road not maintained during the winter months. The acreage totals 18.16 acres with elevations varying from 6200 to 6600 feet.


TRACT #2: Paragon Lode also offer outstanding mountain views and is predominately timbered having south facing slopes and comprises 14.73 acres and elevations varying from 6500 to 6800 feet. Situated just to the east of the county road through the Vista Lode an easement through the Vista Lode will be granted for access to this property.


TRACT #3: The Revolver Lode is located in the drainage of Green Creek, which is a perennial creek with numerous springs found on the property. Elevations vary from 6250 to 6350 feet. Accessed via a rough county road and also offers outstanding mountain views. Seller owns an undivided one-half interest in the 6.75 acres of surface and mineral rights of the subject property and will transfer their interest as such.


TRACT #4: Known as the Pusher Lode, situated on an eastern to south eastern slopes and elevations from 6000 to 6500 feet. This property has a merchantable stand of Lodgepole pine and Douglas fir on 11.06 acres.


TRACT #5: The Magnolia and St. Louis Lodes are being sold together and comprise 40.13 acres. Bend Gulch Creek a perennial creek flows through the middle of this acreage running east to west. Elevations range from 6000 to 6500 feet and timbered predominately with Lodgepole pine.
All of the tracts border the Lewis and Clark National Forest Service along a portion of its boundary.
There are no utilities to any of the acreages, but are ideal for seasonal cabin sites.

Winter recreation includes snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing. Showdown Ski Area is only a short 35-mile drive on Kings Hill Pass and boasts thirty-four runs and 1,400 feet of vertical drop. Cross-country skiers will find approximately twenty miles of groomed cross-country ski trails for winter time enjoyment.
